- About My Library
- Documented in a list of books owned by Dale, drawn up by Thomas and Edward Carter on 16 February 1695 and written on a blank leaf in a copy of Holyday's Juvenal (1673) in the collections of the Folger Shakespeare Library. Dale's copy of Shakespeare's Second Folio may be the earliest recorded copy of Shakespeare in America.
