An interesting take on Shakespeares' tragedy. Understandably the text has been cut, as anyone familiar with Richard III will notice, but not to such a degree that could spoil enjoyment.
The artwork is refreshing; a complex mix of styles which succeed in shaing the page together. I was particularly fond of those images which look almost half finished - they lend the panel an extra element of action to them. ( )

Disambiguation notice
The Manga Shakespeare series is not a direct-to-comic adaptation of Shakespeare's plays. These are updated to different times, places and backdrops and should not be confused with the original works. So while Hamlet's story may remain, it is updated to a cyber-world; Romeo & Juliet are updated to modern-day Tokyo, etc. Do not combine with the original works.
