A classic originally published in 1963…one year before my miraculous birth enlightened this earth…haha. My parents didn’t read us bedtime stories. This is a children’s book my husband grew up with. I actually had never heard of it before. I’m not sure my kids have ever read it. I purchased this book around 2010 to read to my grandkids. Cute fantasy story.

Plot Summary: Max, a bit of a troublemaker, is sent to bed by his mother without any dinner. Dressed in his wolf suite, Max falls asleep in his room where it then transforms into a forest where "wild things" live. This is where Max's adventure begins.
