This first-of-its-kind concordance is a computerized index of word frequency in six Elizabethan sonnet sequences, all done or begun in the 1590’s. The poems are indexed collectively with a single merged index, permitting the user to focus on areas of similarity and dissimilarity and to examine the text for stylistic differences. Each index word, in modern spelling, heads an entry, and following it are a line of context and frequency count. In addition, an appendix contains word lists and frequency for each sonnet sequence.
