There is a soap opera convention coming to London from Los Angeles and the fans are going wild. Maybe even crazy. Bodyguard Adam Freeman draws the duty of guarding Logan Brady, one of the stars of the paranormal series. Logan has been a television personality since he was fifteen and now at thirty has had five very successful years on the soap "NightCop". Logan has been receiving death threats which is why Bodyguards, Inc. and Adam are called in. There is a chemistry between Adam and Logan almost immediately but Adam needs to keep his professional distance and Logan needs to decide whether or not to renew his contract with "NightCop" and how to come out of the closet with some kind of career. Adam needs to keep Logan alive through the convention first. I liked the idea of a crazed killer at a soap opera convention and the mix of both humor and seriousness that Ms Scott injected into it. Both Adam and Logan are strong and likable characters. The story revolves primarily around Adam and Logan but there are some very good secondary characters such as Stacia and Robert. I felt the sexual tension and emotional bond between the two men to be the driving force behind this particular story. This same bond is what caused Adam to crumble when Logan is attacked and lay dying. There are a couple of plot twists and turns in the last half of the book that kept the pace of the story moving and kept me flipping pages to the much deserved HEA. I highly recommend this fairly short and fast reading book to anyone looking for a romance mystery. ( )

Bodyguard to a Sex God is the first book in the ‘Bodyguards Inc.’ series. It stars Adam Freeman, a bodyguard, and Logan Brady, a movie star. This is told in third person from both Adam and Logan’s povs.

The blurb does a good job of describing the plot so I won’t go into it much. This is mostly an instant lust story with the men falling in love with each other by the time the contract to guard Logan is over. I enjoyed the added twist at the end on who was stalking Logan. I'm not sure which character is on the cover. I suppose it could be Logan because Adam is supposed to have white blond hair, but the cover model is nothing like I would've imagined Logan would look like. I'd rate the cover is a D.

I liked the characters. Adam and Logan, and side actor characters, were all nice and didn’t have any major emotional issues. I did notice that the story started with Adam seeming like a hard-nosed body guard, but right away it was obvious that he wasn’t that much of an Alpha type of guy. More like watchful, who was dedicated to protecting his client, but he had no trouble breaking the rules to get involved with Logan. That’s what caught my attention in that the author didn’t quite stick to the game plan of what kind of person Adam was supposed to be, because he went from tough to softy, willing to break rules, in a flash.

My problem with this story was that there were a lot of grammatical errors. Missing words, wrong words, wrong spelling, and the use of the wrong character’s name in multiple places. I don’t know if the author used a beta or editor, but this book definitely needed either more than one, or better ones. These were very obvious errors.

This book ends at about 90% followed by an excerpt of another book, and a long list of the authors other publications. So there's a lot of advertisement at the end of the story.

Overall, this wasn’t that deep or serious a stalking story. It had its moments during the climax scenes, but mostly it was a lighter romance with instant lust. Bodyguard to a Sex God is a fast and easy read. I probably won’t read it again, but it is a decent read after an angst-ridden story. I give this book, 3 Stars.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review

Hello Bodyguards Inc! I think this is going to be my favorite bodyguard agency ever! lol

Adam is hired to be a bodyguard for an actor from the US who is receiving threats. (BI is located in the UK.) Logan is a famous actor who is heading to some big convention. I thought I had the stalker issue figured out very early on. I am glad to say that the story did not go the way I thought it would. I thought that part was very well written. It had me going "WOW. Did not see that coming". Logan and Adam were really awesome together and I absolutely LOVED the epilogue. :-)

I am loving the chemistry between all of the BI family (because they really are like a family even though they work together).I love the antics with the stapler, and I can't wait to see Ross realize that Kyle is madly in love with him. ( )

That was a nice book, a romance between an actor and his new bodyguard.
TV actor Logan Brady plays the sexy bad guy in the vampire 'Night Cop' series. His fans are crazy about him - but somebody out there takes it too far. They love him literally to death and escalate from letters to action.
Then the show producers hire local bodyguard Adam Freeman to protect Logan during his weekend visit to the London 'Night Cop' convention. Adam is openly gay.
Logans best friend and beard for many years, co-actor Stacia Monet, is about to "break up" with him to get together with her own boyfriend, and Logan contemplates coming out.
Sparks fly between Adam and Logan. A severe case of insta-lust leads to long talks and deeper feelings. Together they survive murderous fans and Logan's coming out before the can enjoy their HEA.
3.2 stars. ( )

This was another sweet yet sexy read from an author I always enjoy. The only issue I always have is that her stories are often too short lol.

One thing R.J. Scott always manages to do is write characters that interest me. Guys that just push my buttons. And in a story of this length, insta-love doesn't worry me anywhere near as much as it would in a much longer story.

These are the kinds of books where I can relax, sit back and just lose myself into some fantasy, without having to wade through angst or complex drama. Sweet romance with some action and intrigue going on. What more can I ask for? ( )
